He was born in Sweden in 1909. He had his first one-man show in 1951 at Galerie Berteau in Paris where he exhibited paintings in which he experimented with polarized light. His objects “Optochromies” were first exhibited in Oslo in 1958 and then in other leading Art Museums in Europe and the USA. He participated in the “Art and Movement” exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum in 1965.
