Alessandro Ludovico is a media critic, artist, publisher, author, speaker, and more – he is that new kind of intelligent person who emerge with digital media: highly educated, critical, creative, funny – he is the materialization of the new kind of intelligence.
Since 1993, he has been editor in chief of the Neural magazine, which gained an Honorary Mention at Prix Ars Electronica 2004. He writes critical essays on digital culture. He was one of the founding contributors of the Nettime community, and one of the founders of the Mag.Net organization (Electronic Cultural Publishers). He teaches Computer Art and Interface Aesthetics at the Academy of Art in Carrara (Italy).
