Ph.D.-student (at Purdue University), Esteban Garcia Bravo, has written a thesis about his discovery, the Italian-American artist who around the year 1973 started to use digital computers for his artistic work. Almost twenty years after Giorgini’s death in 1994, his studio was still untouched and contained everything he had done. Garcia was enthusiastic about his discovery and, perhaps, made Giorgini to become the first of the early contributors to digital art whose work is now well documented and archived. (Otto Beckmann is another such case.)
