The wireframe drawing belongs to a set of many that all came from a discrete model. At Boeing, this model was used as a standard figure of a pilot. In the design process of aircraft, the pilot model was used in the virtual cockpit to test his ability to reach all the instruments. At such an early time of the development of computer graphics, the figure in various positions was shown at many exhibitions worldwide. Its aesthetics was so convincing that it gained a high reputation. Other artists used it for their inspiration.
