One of the ”Eden” series of drawings, with people, plants, and rocks arrayed in sophisticated space. Aaron’s drawings have shifted from cognitive to dramatic primitives: a narrative is suggested by the disposition of human figures across a landscape yielding figures who seem to be engaged in an urgent drama. Regardless of whatever story is evoked from the viewer by the picture, the dispositio and stances of its subjects are largely random (McCorduck 1991:118).
