In the field of electronic art there have been organised and exhibited biannial competitions with shows and catalogs in the municipal gallery in Gladbeck (Staedtische Galerie im Rathauspark Gladbeck); starting in 1986 there have been shown 15 exhibitions in the galery (and in the Innovation Center Wiesenbusch in Gladbeck) as well as in different cities in Germany and Austria as wandering shows. In 1984 the Staedtische Galerie continued the performance of art exhibitions organised by the Museum der Stadt Gladbeck since the 1920th.
