Anton Zöttl started composing computer graphics in 1970. He had previously studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich and worked at Siemens (Munich), in the field of telecommunication engineering.
About 1970, the Kunst- und Wissenschaftsverlag (Publishing House for Art and Science) published a total of 26 motifs of early Computer Art as a serigraphic, among which are also three of Zottl’s motifs.
In 1973, he participated in the exhibition series Neue Tendenzen (new tendencies) in the show tendencije/tendencies 5.
