Here, Wolfgang Blobel was using special graphical features of a computer-controlled plotter, that way like other artists are selecting woodcut, etching or silk-screen printing as a tool of their expression.
His goal was displaying new aesthetic phenomenons and structures, which are just achievable whith the particular nature of a computer.
Moreover the computer was used to arrange a pile of ideas and to find a suitable solution.
